Meet our Course Leader, Billy

Billy spent 6 years lecturing Level 3 UAL Film, Animation and Media Production at Plymouth College of Art and led the successful funding bid to bring the acclaimed BFI Film Academy to Plymouth, the only academy of its sort in Devon and Cornwall. He helped position alumni on films such as Marvel’s Black Widow and James Bond: No Time to Die and HBO and SKY series. An active freelance Cinematographer, Billy has shot a wide range of content across Short Film, Music Video and Documentary and has experience in producing and executive producing film content. He has built the Level 4 Film programme at LSA, energised by a dissatisfaction with UK generalist film education, a desire to make a genuine difference to the bigger picture, and above all else, a burning passion for the process of making films.
