For Level 3, students need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 4-9, or other Level 2 equivalents.
LSA expects applicants to have achieved grades 4-9 in English, Maths or both. If you do not achieve a Grade 4 pass at GCSE in either English Literature/Language or Maths, we offer intensive support in preparation for retakes. You will not be able to enrol if you do not pass both English or Maths at GCSE.
For Level 4, students need to achieve a grade 4 or above in both English and Maths at GCSE and a Merit or above at Level 3 or equivalent (A Levels, BTEC, UAL).
Level 3 Admissions Process
STAGE 1: Complete an online application
STAGE 2: If your application is successful, you will be invited for a telephone interview with a member of the LSA Team
STAGE 3: Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer to join the London Screen Academy. Between being made an offer and enrolment day, students will be invited to attend various events across half term and summer holidays
STAGE 4: GCSE results are released and students enrol at LSA. At enrolment, a final review of the student’s application, alongside GCSE grades, engagement with LSA and the teacher’s reference is completed. If successful, a confirmation of a secure place will be made.
Level 4 Admissions Process
STAGE 1: Complete an online application
STAGE 2: If your application is successful, you will be asked to submit a portfolio and a reference
STAGE 3: Successful applicants will be invited to an Assessment Centre (in person) and external applicants will be interviewed. If an applicant is successful, they will be offered a conditional offer to join the London Screen Academy.
STAGE 4: Level 3 and A Level results are released and students enrol. If successful, a confirmation of a secure place will be made.
