Breaking the Glass Ceiling

Join us for a chance to meet and hear from an industry professional as they talk about their career in film or TV.

There are many communities that have traditionally been under-represented in the screen industries, and we will be shining a light on their journey into the industry.

According to a report by Diamond - a system used by BBC, ITV, C4, C5 and Sky - of all the workers in film and TV in the past 3 years, a staggering 87.7% of workers are from a caucasian background, and only 12.3% of workers are from an ethnic minority. If you look at the population overall in London, the ethnic minority communities make up 40.2% of us which means that at present, the industry significantly under-represents the London we live and work in.

Our focus for BTGC on Wednesday 7th July will be to hear from a professional in the industry who comes from an ethnic minority background.

We hope you can join us for this inspiring talk. Click here to sign up.
